The Curra Christmas Elves are busily preparing for what promises to be a brilliant display for 2008 - with all new animations and layouts!
We'd like to extend a big thankyou to all who visited our display in 2007 - both in person (the 8,000 or so of you!) and also online. If you haven't already done so, please sign the guestbook in the left hand column.
Although the weather wasn't always favourable, true Christmas spirit cannot be dampened - with over $2,000 raised for Little Haven Palliative Care! Thankyou again to all the donors - you are facilitating services from one of the best charities on earth.
We hope your 2008 so far has been safe and prosperous, and look forward to seeing you in just a few short months with an even bigger display!
Why We're Unique
All our designs are hand made by us - from the bending of the rod to the welding together of the silhouettes, to the painting of the bulbs and finally putting the bulbs on the silhouettes. Want to know more? Check out Christmas Creations Light Designs
Our animated sequences are all programmed by us using LOR computer software - from the wave of Santa's hand to the fluttering of the angel's wings and everything in between!
Curra Christmas is located at Curra, which is approximately 15km north of Gympie, Queensland (also 50 minutes from Noosa, and just under 2 hours from Brisbane). It's an easy drive, straight up the Bruce Highway!
It's worth the trip - take a determined family, over 120,000 bulbs and LED's and you get one of the largest walk-through Animated Christmas Lights Displays in Australia spread over a whopping 2 acres!
