It's official - Curra Christmas is having a well-earned break this year. After many years, thousands of people, and thousands of dollars in donations to Little Haven Palliative Care, it's time for a rest.
As to 2011 - stay tuned - Curra Christmas will be no more, and you can expect to see a completely new display, at a new location, closer to town!
Why We're Unique
All our designs are hand made by us - from the bending of the rod to the welding together of the silhouettes, to the painting of the bulbs and finally putting the bulbs on the silhouettes. Our animated sequences are programmed by us using LOR computer software - from the wave of Santa's hand to the fluttering of the angel's wings and everything in between! 2008 saw us using a whopping 490 individual channels!
Curra Christmas is located at Curra Meadows, which is approximately 15km north of Gympie, Queensland (also 50 minutes from Noosa, and just under 2 hours from Brisbane). It's an easy drive, straight up the Bruce Highway!
Trust us - and our visitors - it's worth the drive - with over 200,000 bulbs and LED's Curra Christmas is one of the largest walk-through Animated Christmas Lights Displays in Australia spread over a whopping 2 acres!
